Thank you for choosing Great Expectations Auction & Auto Brokerage LLC! We are excited to have you join us for one of our live vehicle auctions. Whether you’re a first-time bidder or a seasoned buyer, our goal is to make the auction process simple, transparent, and enjoyable.

What is a Live Vehicle Auction?

A Live Vehicle Auction is an exciting, fast-paced event where licensed auctioneers conduct bidding in real time. Bidders gather in person at the auction site and compete openly for each vehicle as it crosses the auction block.

Each vehicle is sold individually to the highest bidder, subject to any applicable reserve or seller confirmation stated in the auction terms.

How to Participate

1. Register to Bid

All bidders must register before the auction begins and present a valid government-issued photo ID.

2. Inspect the Vehicles

We strongly encourage all bidders to inspect the vehicles during the scheduled preview period. Vehicle descriptions are provided as a convenience; however, all vehicles are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties or guarantees unless specifically stated.

3. Listen for the Auctioneer

When your vehicle of interest enters the auction lane, the auctioneer will announce the opening bid and begin accepting competitive bids.

4. Place Your Bid

Simply raise your bidder card or clearly signal the auctioneer or ring personnel when you wish to bid. Bidding will continue until only one bidder remains.

5. Winning the Auction

When the auctioneer announces “Sold!”, the highest bidder has entered into a legally binding agreement to purchase the vehicle.

Important Information

• All sales are subject to the auction’s Terms & Conditions.
• A Buyer’s Premium may apply and will be added to the final bid price.
• Applicable sales tax, title fees, registration fees, dealer fees, or other required charges will be collected where applicable.
• Payment is due according to the terms of the auction.
• Vehicles must be removed within the designated pickup period unless other arrangements have been approved.

All vehicles are Sold As-is, with No Warranties, Expressed or Implied, so please be sure to preview. We want you to be happy with your purchase, so make sure you know what you are buying beforehand. If we know there is an issue, we will disclose it, but in most cases we are given little information on these vehicles, so please come prepared to inspect. You are allowed to bring Jump Boxes, Diagnostic machines, Plug-in App Readers, and Mechanics are welcome.

• If you plan to purchase a vehicle, Please bring your and Drivers License and your insurance card. If you intend to transfer a tag, please bring the tag with you.
• All Vehicles will be re-titled in the Bidders Personal Name or Business Name, so please register in the name that you intend to title the vehicle in. We will not release any open titles. If you do not intend to purchase a tag at this time, You will need to trailer the vehicle off of the property and sign an affidavit stating that you will not drive it until it has proper tag. We will be providing tag & title work the day of the auction.
• We will NOT accept Credit Cards! Cash or Approved Check Only!
• All personal checks must be accompanied with a letter from your bank or a printout showing the available balance in your account.
• Payment must be made the day of the sale. No Exceptions!
  • 15% Buyers Premium will be added to your total invoice
  • 6.5% Sales Tax added to invoice, if you are an out of state purchaser please let us know at checkout to avoid paying taxes for both states
  • There is a $85 Dealer Processing Fee per Vehicle that you purchase added to your invoice
  • If you are a Dealer, there will be a $25 Dealer Transfer Fee per vehicle added to your invoice
